Ocala Police seek three women in $1,000 theft and battery at Dick’s Sporting Goods

OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Officers with the Ocala Police Department (OPD) are looking for three women involved in a store theft.

OPD says the theft took place on Jan. 19 at the Dick’s Sporting Goods located at 4414 SW College Rd.

According to officers, the three women entered the store and stole $1,000 worth of merchandise.

In addition to the stolen property, OPD says one of the women battered a 71-year-old store employee who attempted to stop them.

OPD says the suspects fled in a white sedan resembling a Hyundai Sonata.

They took off and were last seen traveling northbound on I-75.

Anyone with information on the three individuals should call 911.

There is a cash reward of up to $3,000 for tips that lead to an arrest.
