OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ocala Fire Rescue (OFR) crews responded to a mobile home engulfed in flames Thursday.

According to OFR, crews responded to the Shadow Oaks Mobile Home Park located at 3230 SE 10th Ave. around 7:20 p.m. Thursday.

When crews were pulling out of the station, they say they could see ‘heavy fire’ through the woods. When they arrived, they found a mobile home engulfed in flames. They say the heat from the fire also began to destroy a vehicle parked by the house.

OFR says crews immediately began to attack the fire to keep it from spreading to the vehicle. They then began to focus on extinguishing the fire and used multiple water hoses to put out the fire.

OFR says no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is unknown at the time.

The Ocala Police Department, Marion County Fire Rescue, and Ocala Utilities also responded to the scene.
