OCALA, FL. (352today) – The City of Ocala Cultural Arts Division, in partnership with the Marion County Public Library System, is excited to announce the vendor open call for the Art Park Literary & Poetry Festival, taking place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Tuscawilla Art Park (213 NE 5th Street, Ocala, FL).
This free, family-friendly festival celebrates the power of language through literature, poetry, and storytelling, featuring live open mic recitals, local and regional author showcases, food and refreshment vendors, literary organizations, art-making activities for all ages, and the debut of the “My Place, My Story: Art Park Literary & Poetry Festival” book, available for free at the event.
They are currently seeking a wide variety of vendors, including but not limited to:
- Independent publishers & small presses
- Bookstores
- Authors & poets
- Zine artists & comic creators
- Magazine or newspaper publishers
- Book makers & bookbinders
- Printmakers
- Calligraphers, typography or letterpress artists
- Illustrators with storytelling or literary themes
- Paper artists & stationery designers
- Libraries, writing clubs, and literary nonprofits
- Community organizations
- Food trucks, snacks, and beverage vendors
