MICANOPY, FL (352today.com) – A dump truck that was traveling southbound on I-75 near mile marker 370, in the outside lane approaching the CR 320 overpass, with its bed raised collided with the overpass causing significant damage.

UPDATE: All lanes on southbound I-75 are now open to traffic. The NW Hwy 320 bridge has also reopened, but traffic is restricted to one lane with flagging operations in place.

Update: 8:34 a.m., Sept 24, 2025, the left two travel lanes on southbound I-75 are now open to traffic. Only the right lane remains closed at this time. The NW Highway 320 bridge remains closed in both directions.

Update: 6:48 a.m. Sept 24, 2025, the detour and roadway closure at Exit 374 have been removed. The left shoulder is now open to traffic on southbound I-75 at mile marker 370. NE Highway 320 remains closed in both directions. Drivers should expect delays and use caution in the incident area as crews continue to work on repairs. 

The Florida Highway is currently investigating a crash on I-75 southbound at mile-marker 370 in Marion County where a dump truck collided with the County Road 320 overpass. All southbound lanes are currently blocked. All southbound traffic is being diverted off at Exit 374. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution if traveling in the area.

In addition, the Northwest Highway 320 bridge is closed in both directions, from Northwest 87th Avenue Road to Northwest 200th Street Road.

The detour on southbound I-75 is in place until further notice:

Motorists heading southbound on I-75 will be directed to exit off the interstate at Exit 374, C.R. 234, travel southwest along C.R. 234 and C.R. 329 until reaching C.R. 318. Turn left at the stop sign at C.R. 318 to head west back to I-75.
