MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Atlas is a playful 14-week-old Anatolian Shepherd mix pup who came to the Humane Society of Marion County with three of his littermates.
He weighs under 20 pounds. He’s gonna get a whole lot bigger, of course, but right now he’s a bright bundle of a blank slate for a patient, caring owner to train up into an intelligent and loyal companion.
Atlas loves to play, gets along with cats and children and just about everybody else. He’s ready to learn the ropes, and would love an older brother or sister to bring him along, but a human with the time, temperament and unconditional love to help him grow could be just as good.
This little guy and his brothers surely aren’t going to be at the shelter long, so if you’d like to schedule a meet-and-greet with Atlas or one of his littermates, you can call the Humane Society of Marion County’s adoption line at 352-873-7387 or fill out and adoption form and get the pertinent info at their website.
