MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Our furry four-legged featured player this week is Blake, a seven-year-old mix with great color and an even better attitude who’s just waiting to meet his new forever friends at the Humane Society of Marion County.
We like to refer to seven-year-old Blake as “super chill,” which is really code for “lazy”–this stumpy, stocky boi would rather hang out and get skritches than go for a long walk, and is the perfect size for cuddling up on the couch (at least, he thinks he is). A low-impact home or possibly one with seniors would be the perfect environment; in fact, Blake is eligible for HSMC’s Senior for Senior program, which means the organization will sponsor his adoption fee if his new owner is over 55.

Blake came to HSMC on November 11 of last year; that was Veterans Day, and he’d make a great partner for a vet looking for some mellow companionship.
If you’d like to schedule a meet-and-greet with this sweet, submissive middle-aged man, call the Humane Society of Marion County at 352-873-7387 or make an appointment online today!
