OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Former NFL defensive back Natrell Jamerson, an Ocala native, is home and sharing his experience and expertise with “Set the Tone: Natrell Jamerson’s End-of-Summer Youth Football Camp,” to be held at Booster Stadium Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Jamerson was a wide receiver at Ocala’s Vanguard High School before playing college ball for the Wisconsin Badgers and in the NFL for the Saints, the Texans, the Packers, the Jets, the Giants and the Raiders. He ended his professional career in the Canadian Football League in 2023, and now he’s working with the hometown kids, teaching them skills they can use on and off the field.

“This camp is about giving Ocala youth access to real training, real mentorship, and a reason to believe in what they can become,” said Jamerson in an announcement. “We want every camper to leave with confidence, discipline, recognition, and pride.”

“Set the Tone” has already surpassed its own estimates for early signups, but there’s still room for another 50-100 kids aged 8-18. Those who come out will learn fundamentals, speed and agility training, one-on-one and seven-on-seven competition and valuable leadership skills, among other lessons. Fellow former Saint P. J. Williams will also be on hand as an educator.

The whole thing is run through Jamerson’s own NRJ Foundation, but they’re looking for local businesses to help provide drinks, apparel, wellness resources, awards, and other swag.

The camp will run from 4-8 p.m. Booster Stadium is located at Vanguard High School, 3050 NE 36th Ave., Ocala.
