MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Ocala’s Southeastern Livestock Pavilion (SELP), a hub for local community and agriculture events, is making progress on a brand-new campground for visitors with RVs.

The facility currently has a total of 56 RV sites, only nine of which are full hookup sites, meaning they have sewer access in addition to electricity and water.

Double the Number of RV Sites with Full Hookups and Internet Access

According to an Aug. 22 post SELP’s Facebook page, the upcoming campground will add 66 new full hookup sites with broadband internet access to the north area of the property.

The RV sites will provide lodging for event attendees and vendors alike. Work on the campground began just a few months ago. You can see the facility’s map of current sites here.

Marion County Parks and Recreation manages the pavilion, which is jointly-owned by the Marion County Board of County Commissioners and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

The pavilion hosts numerous shows, sales, and special events each year.
