St. Patrick’s Day Party

Everyone is invited to attend a St. Patrick’s Day Party featuring green beers, dinner and a live performance. Guests can enjoy food from Fat G’s, $5 drafts and a special performance from the Mustang Cloggers, a group of cloggers based in Williston.

The party will take place on Friday, March 13 from 6-11 p.m. for a long night of festive fun at Homestead Park, 1050 NE 6th Blvd, Williston. The event is free and open to the public.

Luck of the Leprechaun 5K

Runners, walkers and families are called to the Luck of the Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk. This Irish-themed event will feature family activities and race swag for participants. There will be six categories with a male and female overall winner, first prep for ages 18 and under, first master for ages 40 and up, first grand masters for ages 50 and up, first senior grand masters for ages 60 and up and first veteran masters for ages 70 and up, along with the standard three-deep finishing awards. Kids can join the fun with the Irish Eyes are Mile’ing Fun Run.

The 5K will take place on Saturday, March 14 at 8 a.m. at Baseline Road Trail Park, 4255 SE 58th Ave, Ocala. The kids’ run will start at 9:30 a.m. with registration ending day of the event. Registration for the 5K is $40, while registration for the kids run is $10 for the run and $15 for the run and a themed t-shirt.

Saint Patrick’s Weekend Celebration

The Irish American Club is hosting a dinner and dance celebration. Dinner will be served by Oak Room Bar and Grill with corned beef, cabbage, mashies, carrots and dessert. A four-corner dance competition will take place with the winner receiving a lottery prize.

The celebration will take place on Saturday, March 14 from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Palm Grove Country Club, 6951 SW 115th Street Rd., Ocala. Tickets are $26 for club members and $30 for guests.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The City of Inverness is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Parade where the town will gather for family-friendly activities including face painting, balloon twisting, a young tooth fairy and leprechaun contest and more before the parade takes off. The parade will begin at the Citrus County Tax Collectors Office parking lot at 3:30 p.m. before traveling through downtown and ending at the Depot Pavillion.

The celebration will be taking place on Sunday, March 15 in Downtown Inverness from 3-6 p.m., free for everyone to bring family and friends for a festive afternoon and evening.

St. Patrick’s Day at Mutiny

Show up at beloved local bar and gathering place Mutiny Ocala for a full day of St. Patrick’s Day fun featuring themed drinks and food with live music to keep the day festive. Live performances will be held by Jenna Clark, Luna Worldcast and Feverdreams. Food items will feature corned beef and cabbage, corned beef sandwiches and beef and cheese dip with special drinks served throughout the day.

This event is free and open to the public. It will take place on March 17-18 from 11 a.m.-2 a.m. at 46 S. Magnolia Ave., Ocala.

St. Patrick’s Day Specials

Enjoy a shamrock celebration with a menu featuring themed items for the holiday at Stone Creek Golf Club Grille. The menu will include beer brats with kraut, green domestic craft beer, corned beef and cabbage, Guinness beef stew and split pea and ham soup. Regular menu options are also available.

Drink options are between $3-$9 with dinner, stew and soup options between $5-$16. Dinner will take place on Tuesday, March 17 from 3-7 p.m. at 9676 SW 62nd Loop, Ocala.

Saint Patrick’s Day Festival

The Villages is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day festival with a variety of local vendors, live performances and Emerald Isle charm. Live performers include the Byrne Brothers, a family band and Irish dancers from Ireland and Sounds of Scotland, a pipe-and-drum band performing traditional Scottish music.

The festival will take place on Tuesday, March 17 from 4-9 p.m. at Spanish Springs Town Square, 1120 Main St., The Villages. The festival is free to attend and perfect for family entertainment.
