MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Arc Marion is proud to announce it has been awarded a $25,000 grant from SECO Energy to purchase two Tover interactive projectors, innovative tools designed to enhance engagement, connection, and quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), cognitive impairments, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease.
This investment will allow The Arc Marion to introduce cutting-edge, evidence-based technology that transforms everyday moments into meaningful, interactive experiences. The Tover systems are pre-loaded with specialized games and programs intentionally designed to stimulate cognition, encourage movement, promote social interaction, and reduce agitation.
“We are incredibly grateful to SECO Energy for believing in our mission and investing in technology that directly improves the lives of the people we serve,” said Rhonda Kincaid, Community Coordinator for The Arc Marion. “These interactive projectors will create opportunities for joy, connection, and engagement for our Participants—many of whom benefit greatly from sensory-based and movement-driven activities.”
