LADY LAKE, FL (352today.com) – The festive season is in full effect and there are still a lot of fun events to attend this year.

Celebrate your holiday season by taking some time to visit the Lady Lake Farmers and Crafts Market. The Holiday Market features handmade and handcrafted items such as candles, bath bombs, lotions, essential oils, jewelry, cookies and more. The town is encouraging shoppers to ‘explore the talents’ of all the different vendors and even get some Christmas shopping done.

In addition to all of the different goodies and gifts, Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be at the market and will be available for pictures and to grant any list-minute Christmas wishes.

The market will be open Tuesday, Dec. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rolling Acres Sports Complex. The address for the complex is 260 Rolling Acres Road in Lady Lake. All attendees can enter for the chance to win a gift basket. The drawing will be held at 2 p.m. and the winner will be notified and does not have to be present in order to win.

“Join us for a day filled with festive cheer, unique finds, and the chance to connect with local artisans and authors,” said organizers.

Market organizers also say the Florida Carriage Museum will add to the festive atmosphere with representatives wearing period costumes. The group will also be selling items by the museum’s founder and local author, Gloria Austin. “As an accomplished carriage driver, Austin has competed at all levels and is celebrated as one of the premier four-in-hand and coaching drivers in the world,” said market organizers in a news release.

The market is also golf cart accessible.
