SILVER SPRINGS SHORES, FL (352today.com) -The Walmart Supercenter on Bahia Ave. in Silver Springs Shores was the scene of two separate retail theft incidents this week, leading to arrests by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).
In the first case, MCSO says that Deputies Barboza and Stringer responded to a report of theft in progress. Upon investigation, they discovered that Luvinia McAvoy had stolen approximately $67 worth of cosmetics.

However, the case took a more serious turn during a search when deputies say they found McAvoy in possession of a trafficking amount of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and various unprescribed narcotic pills. She was promptly arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail.
In a separate incident, MCSO reports that Deputy Kenny responded to another theft at the same Walmart. His investigation revealed that Exleither Jonathan attempted to leave the store with a cart containing $315 worth of unpaid merchandise. The stolen items were recovered, and Jonathan was taken into custody and transported to jail.
