OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Smalls Sliders is ramping up its presence in Ocala, unveiling a second Can location and continuing to spread its signature Smorange™ energy throughout the community. A celebratory Can Drop event is scheduled ahead of the much-anticipated Grand Opening this spring.
The fast-growing cheeseburger slider brand, recognized for serving fresh, cooked-to-order cheeseburger sliders, seasoned waffle fries, and milkshakes from its unique 750-square-foot Smorange™-colored shipping container, made its Ocala debut last September with the opening of its first Can.
The second Ocala Can is owned and operated by DPC Smalls Investments, led by Florida-based entrepreneur Doug Cone. With extensive experience in business management and product distribution, Cone and his team are eager to build relationships with Ocala residents and integrate into the community.
Smalls Sliders’ “Smalls Town Hero” is a special recognition within the brand, awarded to individuals or organizations that make remarkable contributions to their local communities. This honor highlights those who positively impact their towns through service, advocacy, or support for important causes. In Ocala, Kimberly’s Center for Child Protection received the designation for its dedicated work in providing specialized care and a safe environment for children affected by abuse. The Smalls Town Hero initiative reflects Smalls Sliders’ commitment to community engagement and giving back to those who make a difference.
