One example: Citrus County Parks and Recreation (CCPR) has rescheduled its 20th annual Kids Fishing Clinic from this weekend to Saturday, March 16.

“For the past nineteen years, the Kids Fishing Clinic has been a well-attended community event for families,” said Alice Herden, the Recreation Program Specialist for CCPR. They say the forecast is not conducive to setting up the various stations so kids and their parents can learn about the different types of fish that inhabit saltwater environments, as well as fishing regulations and safe casting techniques.
