OCALA, FL  (352.today.com) – Grandview World Nights is underway at the World Equestrian Center through Saturday evening.

It shows off the amazing elegance and power of three types of draft horses, the giants of the horse world, Clydesdales, Belgians and Percherons.

Crowds come to see the majesty of the animals, and many want to take home something to remember they had the chance to see the event long after.

Just inside the main entrance of Arena 5 where the nightly show is taking place there is a booth set up run by volunteers selling this year’s version of wearable souvenirs available to purchase.

“Our new additions from last week’s event (the Grandview Invitational) are our long sleeve t-shirt and our quarter zip. The sweatshirts were an awesome seller at last week’s event, it was a little chillier because it was under cover,” said Dawn Soltis who helps out at both events for the Grandview Clydesdale Farm which is in Dunnellon. She says the t-shirts are especially popular as they have writing on the front and back.

“The hats are also awesome because they are front and back and also on the sides,” said Soltis.

Attendees also see the official program for the event for $5.00 available at the same table. It is right beside the main entrance to the stands, so it’s hard to miss. The program allows you to follow along with the event as the evening builds.

“These world-level hitches demand your attention, from the craftmanship of the harness to the astonishing wagons they pull. Come experience the gentle giants under the evening lights and enjoy a side of the equine world you may have never known existed,” said Karen Cobbs, owner of Grandview Clydesdales and also president of Grandview World Nights.

If you want a memory to take home and wear but remember to bring some cash or your credit card. Parking is free at the event but come early as closer spaces fill up fast.

Saturday is the last day of the three-day event. The show begins at 4 p.m. Ticket prices range from $35 to $70. The latter is a VIP experience with special seating. You can purchase tickets here.

If you can’t make this event but want to see the majestic horses, Grandview Clydesdale Farm offers tours of their farm in Dunnellon. You can book your outing on their website.
