OCALA, FL (352today.com) – If you love dogs, you’ve probably at least seen videos of competitive dock diving, and if you really love dogs, you probably imagine you can see the excitement on every pooch’s face as they launch themselves into the air, anticipating the moment they’ll hit the water.
Well, if you want to witness such joy in person, it’s just one of the things you’ll see at the 2nd annual Splash & Dash event at Ocala’s “country dog resort” DogWalker Ranch on Saturday, May 16, 2026,, where adoptable dogs, trained canine athletes, friends, fans and supporters come together for a day of fun, frolic and fundraising.
Here are just a few of the attractions at this year’s Splash & Dash:

- Lure coursing
- Adoptable pups
- Games
- Raffles
- Vendors and food trucks
In addition, PriorityPet Urgent Care with Magnolia Animal Hospital will be on hand donating free exams for furry family members.
The whole family is welcome, and admission to the event is donation-based, with all proceeds going to help support the feeding, care and support of animals in need.
Splash & Dash runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. DogWalker Ranch is located at 12150 N. U.S. HWY 441 just north of Ocala.
