SUMTER COUNTY, FL (352tday.com) – If St. Charles Place is part of your daily commute, make arrangements to work around it.

Starting Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, St. Charles Place will be closed for about a month from east of The Villages’ Allamanda Recreation Center to west of Darlington Dr. The county says that the closure is necessary because of a damaged stormwater pipe. The project involves replacing 340 linear feet of the damaged pipe and two structures in the system.
