This is the 25th anniversary of the event which is organized by People Against Violence Enterprises (PAVE). It will feature entertainment and a motivational speaker.

Patrick Earl Houston, a rapper known to many as Project Pat, will share his story of turning his life around after serving time in prison for robbery and other charges.

Houston, who was previously part of the gangsta rap group Three 6 Mafia, now tours the country talking to young people about overcoming adversity and making the right decisions.

The rally takes place at the gym of the North Campus of Santa Fe College which is located at 3000 NW 83rd St.
