UPDATE, 7:00 p.m.: Around 5 p.m. on Sunday, 352today’s Kathy Dugan reported cold rain coming down. She had a weather spotter with her as she recorded this video. Watch until the end.

UPDATE, 6:08 p.m.: We’re beginning to receive reports of hail in Ocala from 352today staff and readers.

Just before 6 p.m., 352today’s Whitney Zarder in Sumter County said ominous cloud were rolling in from the west.

ORIGINAL, 6 p.m.:
 A system that’s marching across Florida Sunday is bringing strong to isolated severe storms. The National Weather Service (NWS) says the storm threat should end around 8 p.m. Sunday.

The greatest threat for severe weather is in communities in northeast and central Florida including Ocala and Gainesville.

As we receive reports of the weather impact, we’ll update this story. Check back frequently.
