SUMTER COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – UPDATE: On Aug. 16, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office reported that Morgan had been located and was safe.
ORIGINAL: Deputies from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a man who threatened to harm himself.
They’re searching for 33-year-old Joseph Rocky Morgan. They believe he’s in the area of Northwest 31st Street in the Lake Panasoffkee area. They say he was last seen walking into the wood line near this location.
They say Morgan made threats to harm himself and are concerned for his safety.
Morgan was last seen wearing a blue collared shirt, blue jeans and brown boots. They say he walks with a limp.
If you do see this man, deputies ask that you do not approach him and instead call 911.
