CAPE CANAVERAL, FL (352today.com) – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a tax package on Tuesday that includes tax relief on property insurance premiums and provides for multiple sales tax holidays throughout the year.
The tax package provides a one-year exemption on taxes on residential property and flood insurance premiums.

The governor says the relief is possible because Florida’s economy remains strong, and the state has maintained a “comfortable budget surplus.”
