OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ready for a co-pilot for your summer adventures? Meet Cabby from Marion County Animal Services (MCAS). He may not be able to drive, but he’ll gladly hop in the passenger seat and steer his way into your heart.
Cabby is a 6-year-old brown and white brindle beauty who arrived at MCAS this past March. Weighing in at about 75 pounds, he’s a gentle giant with a mellow personality.
He knows his basic commands, walks politely on a leash, and gets along well with other dogs – so he’ll fit in well in many homes. Cabby is also a bit of a conversationalist. He won’t bark your ear off, but he’ll “talk” to you in his own way so you’ll always know what he’s thinking.
And true to his name, Cabby is the perfect travel buddy who loves a good car ride.

Interested in meeting Cabby? He and many of MCAS’s adoptable dogs will be at the Mega Dog Adoption Festival at the Florida Strawberry Festival Fairgrounds from June 6-8. This event will have over 300 dogs from eight Florida shelters looking for their forever homes.
Or, you can stop by the MCAS shelter Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Currently, MCAS has 176 adoptable dogs (including Cabby) that you can meet. You can view them all here.
