THE VILLAGES, FL (352today.com) – The Villages Democratic Club will hold rallies in two locations in The Villages on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, to mark the one-year anniversary of the start of President Donald Trump’s second term in office.
The events are in protest of the current administration’s actions and policies, and will occur from 10-11:30 a.m.
The rally locations:
- North: Along Morse Boulevard between Old Mill Run and Stillwater Trail at Lake Sumter Landing
- South: Intersection of Warm Springs Boulevard and Marsh Bend Trail near Everglades Recreation Center
According to an announcement at The Villages Democratic Club website, participants are encouraged to create their own signs, but a limited number of extra signs will be available on-site.
Hundreds gathered at the Morse Boulevard location on Jan. 12, 2026, to protest the shooting of Renee Good by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis on Jan. 7.
