OCALA, FL (352today.com) – The spirit of Christmas came alive on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, as approximately 4,000 visitors gathered at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Ocala for the 29th Annual Living Nativity Pageant. Both walkers and drivers were treated to a journey through the live history of Christianity, featuring reenactments of pivotal Biblical moments and culminating in a heartfelt portrayal of the Baby Jesus in Bethlehem.

The immersive experience unfolded across the church grounds in Southwest Ocala, where camel herders kept the wise men’s camels calm, and cast members brought the ancient world to life. Visitors witnessed the ark of the covenant, a dramatic pillar of fire, and artisans demonstrating pottery and bread-making.

In one scene, cast members depicted the bustling streets of Bethlehem, while another featured the wise men making camp on their way to see the newborn Savior. Visitors also crossed the parted sea, marveling at the fiery pillar that led the Israelites in their journey.
