GAINESVILLE, FL (352today.com) – Drivers encountered delays on Interstate 75 (I-75) northbound around mile marker 392 in Gainesville Saturday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says three people were taken to the hospital after a box containing a large air conditioning coil fell off the back of a pickup truck at around 10:30 a.m.
According to FHP, a sedan driven by a 25-year-old Gainesville man had to swerve to avoid the box. This caused the sedan to veer off the road and collide with a tree.

The driver of the pickup truck that lost the boxed air conditioning coil was identified as a 57-year-old man from Gainesville. FHP has not disclosed whether the driver of the pickup will be charged.
