MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Motorists traveling through the I-75 and County Road (CR) 484 interchange should be prepared for overnight ramp closures starting Monday, Oct. 21.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be conducting paving operations and installing new signal poles and mast arms.

Here’s what you need to know about the closures:


Scheduled Ramp Closures:
  • I-75 Southbound Off-Ramp to CR 484 (Exit 341):
    • Closure Time: Monday, October 21, 8 p.m. to Tuesday, October 22, 6 a.m.
    • Reason: Paving operations
    • Detour:
      • Continue south on I-75 to Exit 329 (SR 44)
      • Turn left on SR. 44 and enter the I-75 northbound on-ramp
      • Take I-75 northbound to Exit 341 (CR 484)

  • I-75 Northbound Off-Ramp to CR 484 (Exit 341):
    • Closure Time: Tuesday, October 22, 8 p.m. to Wednesday, October 23, 6 a.m.
    • Reason: Signal pole and mast arm installation
    • Detour:
      • Continue north on I-75 to Exit 350 (SR 200)
      • Turn left on SR 200 and enter the I-75 southbound on-ramp
      • Take I-75 southbound to Exit 341 (CR. 484)

  • CR 484 On-Ramp to I-75 Northbound:
    • Closure Time: Nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Wednesday, October 23 to Friday, October 25
    • Reason: Signal pole and mast arm installation
    • Detour:
      • Turn left at CR 475
      • Follow Southeast 32nd Street (which becomes Southwest 42nd Street and Southwest 43rd Street Road)
      • Turn right on SR 200 and enter the I-75 northbound on-ramp
