OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Ocala Fire Rescue (OFR) reports that the wreck on SW 60th Ave. at SW 38th St. involved a U-Haul truck and a minivan. The incident happened around 10:39 a.m.
When OFR arrived, rescuers say they found the engine compartment of the minivan engulfed in flames. They were able to extinguish the fire quickly.
According to OFR, the driver of the minivan was transported to the hospital; the driver of the U-Haul went to the hospital in a personal vehicle.

352today photographer Alan Youngblood says that he arrived shortly after the incident happened and saw a U-Haul box truck off to the side of the roadway, and a white minivan that was on fire.
At last check, southbound SW 60th Ave. was blocked at SW 20th. Traffic is being routed down 20th St.
