MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says power lines are down and traffic signals are not working at an intersection on Southeast Maricamp Road.
FHP says something took out the overhead lines at the intersection of State Road 464, also known as Southeast Maricamp Road, and Southeast 31st Street.
Troopers say it’s possible a dump truck with a raised bed struck the overhead lines.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has crews on scene attempting to restore the traffic signals. But troopers warn this could take several hours.
You are urged use caution in the area if you have to drive through this area. Otherwise, they say it’s best for you to seek an alternate route. They warn that traffic will be backed up as crews work in the area.
