Troopers say it’s unclear how the incident started but they’re calling it a case of road rage.

They released dash cam video captured by a commercial vehicle in the area when the accident happened.

In the less than 30 second video you can see a motorcyclist pass the commercial vehicle on the outside shoulder while a Honda passed in the center lane. Troopers say the Honda suddenly steered to the outside shoulder and appears to intentionally ram the motorcycle. The video shows the impact causes the motorcyclist to overturn several times into the wood line parallel to the roadway.

The driver of the Honda does not stop.

FHP says based on vehicle parts found at the accident scene, they are searching for a gray or silver 2020 Honda Civic. There is currently no description of the driver.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call *FHP (*347) or Crime Stoppers at **TIPS.
