DIXIE COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating a deadly hit-and-run accident in Dixie County.
They say someone hit and killed a 42-year-old man from Old Town who was walking on Northeast 316th Avenue near the
area of Northeast 497th Street.
The accident happened Saturday night just before 11 p.m.
By Sunday afternoon, troopers said they’ve located a Ford pickup truck believed to have been involved in the accident and they have identified a person of interest in the case.
No further information has been provided by FHP.
