Marion County Public Schools and the College of Central Florida (CF) are hosting the 2024 Careers and Colleges Expo on Wednesday, Aug. 21, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
The event takes place in CF’s Ewers Century Center located at 3001 SW College Road in Ocala.
Representatives from dozens of public and private colleges, universities, technical institutes, trade schools, and military branches will be on hand to share information with college-bound students, transfer students, and those interested in career exploration and military enlistment.
The public is invited to attend this free event.

Santa Fe College (SFC) is hosting College Fair 2024 on Monday, Aug. 26, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in its gymnasium.
This free event offers access to more than 50 colleges, universities, and trade schools so that you can explore various educational paths and make informed decisions. Organizers say that you can meet with representatives, learn about different programs, and get financial aid information.
“It’s a year’s worth of college visits in one convenient location,” says SFC Communications Specialist Erik Handy.
Parking and attendance are free, and you are encouraged to arrive early.
