Here are some key reminders for parents of students who attend Alachua County Public Schools:
- Friday, October 18: Schools and district offices will be closed for the University of Florida Homecoming celebration.
- Monday, October 21: No classes for students, as it is a teacher planning day. However, schools will remain open for district operations except for Rawlings Elementary, which will have normal classes that day.
- Wednesday, October 16: There will be an early release for the following schools: High Springs Community School, A. Quinn Jones, Sidney Lanier, and Duval Early Learning Academy.
