OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Marion County Utilities has lifted the precautionary boil water notice to customers within the Ocala Preserve community following the satisfactory completion of a bacteriological survey, showing that the water is safe to drink.

The alert went out just after 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Marion County Utilities will be notifying residents via calls, emails and social media, but affected residents are encouraged to contact Utilities’ customer service team at 352-307-6000 during regular business hours to verify their account phone number is accurate.
