Rock the Country:This two-day music festival on Friday, June 7 & Saturday, June 8, will feature rock and country music legends. Headliners include favorites like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, and Jason Aldean. One and two-day ticket options are available for admission. There’s also on-site camping for the full weekend experience. The festival is at Majestic Oaks Ocala, located at 17500 North US Highway 441 in Reddick.
Great Florida Bigfoot Conference: The fourth annual Great Florida Bigfoot Conference will take place on Saturday, June 8, at Expo Center 1 at the World Equestrian Center. Bigfoot researchers, investigators, and authors will interact with fans and discuss their research and findings. Tickets start at $25, but VIP packages will get you front-row seating, a dinner with the speakers, and conference swag. The address is 1750 NW 80th Ave. in Ocala.
Deana Carter Acoustic Show: Nashville native Deana Carter, known for hits like “Strawberry Wine,” will take the stage on Friday, June 7, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Reilly Arts Center, at 500 NE 9th St. in Ocala. Tickets start at $20.
License-free Fishing Days: Get outside this weekend and learn a new skill on Saturday, June 8, or Sunday, June 9. This is a great opportunity for those without a fishing license to experience fishing, or for experienced anglers to bring a friend to try it out. Tyler Fischer Live at the Marion Theatre: Named “The Best New Impressionist” by the New York Times, this stand-up comedian will take the stage on Saturday, June 8, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are just $30, and the show is at 50 S Magnolia Ave. in Ocala.
