Songs & Second Chances at Whitehead Farms: On Friday, April 12, dust off your boots and don your hats to enjoy an evening of traditional country music. Gates open at 6 p.m. to see William Michael Morgan, Ty Herndon, and Craig Campbell live. General admission tickets start at $35 to enjoy the three acts.
Amber Brooke Farms Blueberry Festival: Blueberry season is here, and there’s no better place to celebrate Amber Brooke Farms in Eustis. Tickets are $15 per person online, and admission includes offerings like u-pick blueberries, happy hours, blueberry eats & sweets, and entertainment. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14.
Dunnellon Boomtown Days and Art Show: Step back into the 1920s to browse local arts and craft vendors, sample wild west chow, and jam to live music. Boomtown Days is happening this Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Dunnellon’s Historic District. This free event has over 120 vendors, so there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Hogtown Craft Beer Festival: Calling all beer connoisseurs! What’s a better way to enjoy your weekend than trying hundreds of craft beers and tasting food from the best local restaurants? Samples from various local, regional, and national breweries guarantee to make everyone hoppy. This festival lasts from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, and tickets are $59. Note: Minors are not allowed in the festival area.
Ocala Geek Fest: Head to Ocala’s Downtown Market on Sunday, April 14, for this free event. Over 60 vendors have been carefully selected to curate the best array of collectibles, trading cards, comics, toys, and more. The fest is from noon to 4 p.m. with a cosplay contest, larping (live-action role playing), and more entertainment throughout the day.
Orange & Blue Weekend: Gator fans can get their fill of sports ranging from football to baseball, track & field to tennis, lacrosse and volleyball. Times, dates, and locations vary at the University of Florida in Gainesville. All events are free.
