The Boss Project: A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen: Tune in for decades of Bruce Springsteen’s beloved discography this Friday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. The Boss Project will recreate Springsteen’s magic on stage during this tribute concert. Tickets start at $23. The concert is at the Reilly Arts Center, located at 500 NE 9th Street in Ocala.
First Friday Art Walk: This downtown Ocala tradition returns after its summer break this Friday, September 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. It’s free to browse the artist displays, live entertainment, and hands-on activities that will be set up throughout downtown Ocala. Many downtown shops and restaurants are open with extended hours for the event.
Girls Night Out Market: This free market celebrates women-owned business with nearly 100 local vendors offering baked goods, clothes, art, accessories, and more. Food trucks, photo opportunities, and a DJ will also be set up. The market is on Saturday, September 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Ocala Market Pavilion, located at 403 SE Osceola Avenue.
Cornhole Under the Lights: This exciting tournament will feature 54 teams competing across 3 categories: standard participants, the Battle of the Bars, and the Battle of the Agencies. Gate entry is $5, and all proceeds will go directly to local charities. Food trucks will be on-site offering dinner and drinks. The tournament will take place Friday, September 6 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Ocala Marketplace Pavilion.
Cinderella Live on Stage: Ocala Civic Theatre is opening the curtains on their 74th season with this beloved classic with a fresh and funny spin. You can watch it live at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, or at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $35. The theatre’s address is 4337 E Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala.
