NORTH CENTRAL, FL (352today.com) – It’ll be a hopping good time this weekend for families wanting to take part in Easter egg hunts.

Organizers of area festivities have to be jumping up and down with joy because the weather is going to be picture perfect for kids to enjoy filling their baskets and for you to capture the digital memories to share with family.

We’ve made it easy for you to find places where you can take the kids to search for colorful and candy-filled eggs.

So, hop like a bunny to any combination of these events that have made our list of top picks for the weekend.

Easter Egg Hunt: You’re invited to join this celebration on Saturday, March 30, from Noon to 2 p.m. (the egg hunt starts at 12:30 p.m.) at Coehadjoe Park located at 4225 NE 35th St. in Ocala. There will be food, games, FREE family photos and prizes.

Micanopy Easter Egg Hunt: Kids of all ages will be able to hunt for Easter Eggs on the field at the Micanopy Ball Park on Saturday, March 30. The ballpark is located at 702 NW 3rd Ct. This FREE event includes food, music and games from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Williston Easter Egg Hunt: This is the first year for this FREE event which takes place during the Spring Outdoor Market on Saturday, March 30, Noon to 1 p.m. at Horseman’s Park at 803 SW 19th Ave. in Williston. There will be music, food trucks and an Easter photo backdrop for family pics.

Easter Celebration at World Equestrian Center: The World Equestrian Center is turning its indoor horse arenas into a place for Peter Cottontail. This FREE Easter celebration will be on Sunday, March 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the World Equestrian Center which is located at 1750 NW 80th Ave. in Ocala. There will be egg and cookie decorating stations, spring crafts, and face painting. Kids will also get to meet the Easter Bunny.

Noon – Indoor Arena 1: Under 4, and ages 5-9
12:30 p.m. – Indoor Arena 4: Ages 10 and up
Note: Bring your own basket.

Easter on the Farm at Mayhem Ranch: This is the third year for this event which includes egg hunts, petting zoo, and hayrides. It’s on Saturday, March 30, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The farm is located in Morriston at 17830 SE 40th St. Cost: $12

Easter Celebration at Amber Brooke Farms: This celebration is said to be too colorful to miss out. The activities on Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. include a 1,000+ egg hunt, egg painting, photos with the Easter Bunny, and more than 25 farm activities. You can also pick strawberries and blueberries. Tickets: $15 for children aged 3-17. Adult admission is free. Note: The celebration at the Eustis location is sold out. As of this publication, tickets were still available for the Williston location.
