OCALA, FL (352today.com) – It’s going to be a wet and muggy Fourth of July weekend across Ocala and North Central Florida, with a chance of showers and storms each day through Sunday.
A low-pressure system is forming off Florida’s east coast, and the National Hurricane Center says it has a 60% chance of becoming a tropical system in the coming days. Even if it doesn’t strengthen, it will keep our skies cloudy and our rain chances high.
The good news? The system is expected to stay offshore and eventually drift northeast, away from Florida, according to the National Hurricane Center.
