OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Schools are announcing their reopening dates after Hurricane Idalia. Find out the latest information regarding your school district here.

According to a 9:15 a.m. briefing from Governor Ron DeSantis, 30 of the 52 Florida school districts that canceled classes during the hurricane are reopening today. Eight more will reopen tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 1.

Alachua County

  • Alachua County Public Schools classes will resume Thursday, Aug 31.
  • University of Florida (UF) announced it will return to normal operating status, Thursday, Aug. 31.
  • Santa Fe College (SF) announced they are reopening on Thursday, Aug. 31.

Citrus County

  • Citrus County Public Schools has cancelled school for Thursday, Aug 31. They have not said when schools will reopen.
  • The College of Central Florida (CF) Citrus Campus classes will resume Thursday, Aug. 31.

Dixie County

  • Dixie County Public Schools will be closed through Friday, Sept. 1. They have not said when schools will reopen.

Gilchrist County

  • Gilchrist County Public Schools will remain closed on Thursday, Aug. 31. As of now, schools will reopen on Friday, Sept. 1.

Hernando County

  • Hernando County Public Schools is still deciding whether schools will reopen tomorrow, Aug. 31.
  • Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) classes are still canceled. Normal operations will resume Sept. 1.

Lake County

  • Lake County Public Schools will be reopening schools on Thursday, Aug 31. They have not said when schools will reopen.

Levy County

  • Levy County Public Schools will be closed through Thursday, Aug. 31.

Marion County

  • Marion County Public Schools and district offices are reopening on Thursday, Aug. 31.
  • Santa Fe College (SF) will be closed on Tuesday, Aug. 29 and Wednesday, Aug. 30.

Sumter County

  • Sumter County Public Schools plan to reopen schools on Friday, Sept. 1.
