OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Wind-FM kicks off Season 9 of its “Rocks the Reilly” concert series with The Rock Show, a high-energy tribute to 70s and 80s classic rock. The concert is set for Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at The Reilly Arts Center, 500 NE Ninth St., Ocala.
This powerhouse six-piece band will bring to life some of the most epic songs ever recorded, covering legendary artists like Heart, Journey, Kansas, Foreigner, Pat Benatar, Queen, Aerosmith, and Toto. Expect soaring vocals that rise above brilliant guitar solos, tight harmonies, masterful keyboard melodies, and a rock-solid rhythm section that ties it all together.
“This is the first time we’ve brought a show like this to the Reilly,” said Hunter, Wind-FM program director and co-host of the Hunter and Dupree morning show. “We usually bring bands who focus their tribute on one or two bands or artists. The Rock Show is going to take us down memory lane like when we were in high school listening to the radio in our friends’ parents’ car.”
Tickets are already selling fast, with prices starting at $25. “And parking is free,” Hunter added. “I know lots of people who make it a date night since it’s so close to the restaurants and nightlife in downtown.”
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. For tickets and more information, visit windfm.com/tribute.
