OCALA, FL (352today.com) – Gainesville and Ocala-based classic-rock station WIND-FM continues its “Rocks the Reilly” series with a show by Tom Petty tribute act The Wildflowers on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Ocala’s Reilly Art Center.
This crazy popular series has already brought tribute acts recreating the music and vibe of AC/DC, the Eagles, Led Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd to the Ocala entertainment scene, and next up on the list is Tom Petty. The Wildflowers, originally from the Birmingham, AL music scene, have been recreating reverent versions of the music of Gainesville native and original country-rock icon Tom Petty for 14 years now, and have garnered tons of accolades for the reverent and rocking approach.
Billed as “North America’s premier touring tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers,” The Wildflowers perform a visually and musically reverent homage to Gatortown’s best-loved musical son and icon.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets run from $25 to $50 and are available here.
