OCALA FL. (352 Today) Residents across Marion County will have 33 hours to support their favorite local causes when Give4Marion returns Tuesday, Sept. 16, through Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Organized by the Community Foundation for Ocala/Marion County, Give4Marion is an annual online giving campaign that encourages community members to donate directly to local nonprofit organizations through Give4Marion.org. The event begins at 10 a.m. Tuesday and ends at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Now in its fifth year, Give4Marion has raised more than $2.4 million to date, benefiting organizations that provide critical services in education, health care, animal welfare, the arts and more. The website allows donors to browse participating nonprofits by category, learn about their missions and contribute with just a few clicks.
The giving event aims to strengthen community ties and expand support for organizations serving Marion County residents year-round. All donations stay local.
Give4Marion is open to the public, and every contribution—large or small—can help nonprofits access additional matching funds or win hourly incentive prizes provided by sponsors.
