MCSO says the suspect was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, 50-year-old Carey Norton was last seen in the Homosassa area on Aug. 9, 2023.
The siblings from North Port allegedly stole their mother’s vehicle and drove 3 hours north.

ACSO has arrested and charged a 13-year-old female student from KMS in connection with the bomb threats. According to the state Department of Education, bomb threats are felony offenses and require expulsion for at least one year and referral for prosecution.
