Newly elected Ocala Mayor Ben Marciano shared his vision for the future of the city while residents expressed concerns on a wide range of issues including crime, traffic and food deserts.
The sculpture trail in the Tuscawilla Art Park features ten large-scale pieces of public art which will be on display for almost two years as part of the City of Ocala’s outdoor exhibit.
Troopers say a total of three vehicles were involved in the crash.
The meetings are on Thursday, March 7, at noon and 5:30 p.m. at the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition in downtown Ocala.
“Fentanyl is always at the top of the list right now because of the amount of overdoses we have,” said Sheriff Woods. “You know, it’s not just unique to Marion County; it’s across this nation.”
In Marion County, Black Balloon Day will be observed at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens which is located at 5050 SW 20th St. in Ocala.
The meeting takes place on Wednesday, March 6, at the Mary Sue Rich Center at Reed Place from 6-7 p.m.
There are two grant categories available this period: Collateral Materials and Special Events Marketing.
