8th grade student arrested in connection with bomb threats that shutdown two Alachua County schools on Monday | PHOTOS

ACSO has arrested and charged a 13-year-old female student from KMS in connection with the bomb threats. According to the state Department of Education, bomb threats are felony offenses and require expulsion for at least one year and referral for prosecution.

Unidentified pedestrian struck by two vehicles, critically injured in Marion County hit-and-run

After being hit by a car, the pedestrian reportedly ended up in the inside lane of CR 464. He was then hit by another vehicle which drove away. Anyone with information about the vehicle or victim is urged to contact FHP.
