MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – UPDATE 12/11: The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) identified the two people injured in Sunday’s early morning shooting outside Club Time.
MCSO says the deputy shot was Kenneth Warner and the civilian has been identified as Ricard Brown.
The sheriff reiterated that both are expected to fully recover from their injuries.
The sheriff’s office the Florida Sheriff’s Association has partnered with the Florida Office of the Attorneeneral to offer a reward of up to $5,000 for a tip that leads to an arrest.
If you’d like to remain anonymous, you can also be eligible for a reward of up to $3,000 through Marion County Crime Stoppers if your tip leads to an arrest.
“Please help us get this violent criminal off our streets,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is hoping someone will provide information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for shooting a deputy and a civilian early Sunday morning.
Deputies say the shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. on December 10 outside Club Time which is located at 9355 SE Maricamp Rd.
MCSO says deputies were providing onsite security as the club was closing.
“At this time, we do not know who the intended target was,” said Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods in a video posted on Facebook. “We are just now getting information, gathering information.”
MCSO says both the deputy and the civilian are expected to make full recoveries.
Regarding the deputy, Wood said, “His injuries at this time are not life threatening. He has been through surgery. He is out in recovery as I speak. So I ask for your prayers for him, his family to watch over and take care of him and also our civilian victim.”
Woods says they are actively searching for the person responsible for the shooting and hopes someone will step forward with information that will lead to an arrest.
“There was roughly 100 people in the parking lot when the shooting occurred,” said Woods. “Someone saw something, heard something and knows something. And I need that citizen to have the courage to come forward to give us information.”

“Now as for this shooter, I want you to know something in particular. I have every resource that I have trying to find you. I have my entire investigations trying to figure out who you are. I will find out who you are. I will hunt you down and I will bring you to justice,” said Woods. “So, you can probably make this easy on yourself. Come forward. I don’t think you’d do it. You ain’t got the courage. You’re already a coward in my eyes.”
