MARION COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Marion County Fire Rescue responded to a helicopter crash in Anthony last night.
According to a social media post, MCSO and MCFR responded to a helicopter crash in the area of the 3200 block of NE 95th Street in Anthony just after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
The small helicopter fortuitously came down in an empty pasture, and no injuries were reported.
“The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) has been notified and will be handling the investigation,” said MCSO in the post.
