OCALA, FL (352today.com) –UPDATE 2.28.24 at 11:20 a.m.: Marion County Utilities has lifted its precautionary boil water order for Golden Holiday Mobile Home Park in NW Ocala.

Original article: 2.27/24: Marion County Utilities has issued a precautionary boil water order due to water main repairs and water valve installation.

The utility says the notice is for customers within the Golden Holiday Mobile Home Park.

MCU says customers should bring water intended for consumption to a rapid boil for at least one minute until this precautionary notice is lifted. As an alternative, bottled water may be used for these purposes, which include drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth.

Water used for laundry, bathing, and/or showering does not need to be boiled.

MCU will perform water testing per regulations from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and will advise customers once the boil water notice is lifted.
