OCALA, FL (352today) – Equestrians from 14 countries have been competing in the Live Oak International (LOI) since Thursday morning.

LOI is the largest combined jumping and driving competition in the United States. The event takes place in the heart of the Horse Capital of the World® on the 4,800-acre Live Oak Stud farm in Ocala.

Sunday is the last leg of the Jumping World Cup Final Qualifier which is the last chance for the Americans to win enough points to qualify for the 2024 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final which will be held this year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The event is co-organized by decorated driving champion Chester Weber and his niece, international show jumper Chloe D. Reid. As an elite competitor, Weber looks to claim his 21st US Equestrian Federation Driving National Championship four-in-hand, a driving event where a carriage pulled by four horses is navigated through a rigorous course.

LOI also features a Youth Division. First introduced in 2022, this division allows 12 participants under the age of 16 to showcase their talents on a world-class stage.
