OCALA, FL (352today.com) – We’re entering the rainy season in North Central Florida and right on cue, the forecast from the National Weather Service (NWS) has the chance of rain every day. Some days could dump heavy rainfall and cause localized flooding in streets, ditches, creeks and rivers.

NWS meteorologists say there will be several rounds of strong to isolated severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon through Wednesday.

In addition to the flooding potential, the NWS says the weather systems will also bring damaging winds, frequent lightning and heavy rain.
